SCIENTISTS HAVE FINALLY DISCOVERED WHY CONSUMING RED MEAT CAUSES CANCER!

There are many separate studies in which the scientists found a link between red meat and cancer. Namely, this breakthrough discovered why the red meat causes cancer.

The latest scientific indicate that red meat is linked with increased cancer risk, but also significantly increases the chances of medical conditions such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes type 2 and Alzheimer’s. But, until now, the researches didn’t know the exact reason and cause of that.

The scientists from the University of California in San Diego came to conclusion that this mainly has to do with sugar.

Humans are omnivores and that means that our organism tolerates consummation of meat. But, sugar Neu5Gc found in most mammals, except in humans was proved to trigger an immune response that furthermore causes inflammation.

This study was conducted on mice and the final evidence that links the Neu5Gc with cancer was circumstantial or indirectly predicted from experimental setups. Scientists explain that this is the first time they have mimicked the exact situation in humans through feeding non-human Neu5Gc and inducing anti-Neu5Gc antibodies. This increased spontaneous cancer in mice.

This type of sugar in contained in red meats (pork, beef, and other livestock), cow’s milk and certain cheeses.

Due to the fact that human organism cannot produce the Neu5Gc naturally, once this sugar is absorbed into the tissues, the body perceives it as foreign invader and activates the immune system. Scientists suspect that over time, chronic inflammation which was caused by the immune system response has crucial role in development of cancer. In other words, people who are consuming red meat regularly have significantly higher chances to suffer from stronger reaction than those individuals who ingest red meat occasionally.

By limiting your intake of red meat you will reduce chances of developing cancer and you will have a much better life. Keep in mind that your overall health is extremely important and you should always make choices that are healthy and beneficial for your heath.
